# TUTORIAL: Micropatterning EM grids with PRIMO

This tutorial describes the full PLPP Gel and PEG-SVA EM grids micropatterning protocol of proteins using the PRIMO2 photopatterning system and the LEONARDO5 software.
It allows to improve the throughput of your cryo-ET workflow:

– Chemical passivation of the EM grid on the bench
– PRIMO 2 objective calibration
– Use of the EM grids micropatterning module of the new LEONARDO 5 software version
– Proteins incubation
– Fluorescent patterns visualization
